Kellyville Welcomes Joe Pierce as Superintendent

Kellyville Public Schools is very proud to have one of our own as Superintendent: Joe Pierce.

Mr. Pierce came to work for Kellyville in 1989 and throughout his career in Kellyville has taught high school business for 10 years, coached girls basketball and track for 7 years, was a middle school counselor for 4 years, the Programs Director for 8 years and Assistant Superintendent for 3.5 years before finally being voted in as our Superintendent by our School Board in recent weeks.

Mr. Pierce, who is married and has four daughters (one of whom is employed at Kellyville Middle School) has expressed a strong desire for Kellyville Schools to have the goal of “educating our students for success.”

“My goal for Kellyville Schools is that students are provided a safe school environment where full advantage of academic and extracurricular opportunities may be taken by all students,” he said.

In addition to providing a safe environment with a variety of learning directions, Mr. Pierce also believes that Kellyville should continue to improve in every way. “Kellyville Schools will constantly strive to improve instructional methods through professional development, technological advancements, and enhancements to the curriculum,” he said.

Many of the Kellyville community and faculty are very glad to see Joe Pierce—a 26-year educational veteran—leading Kellyville Schools and we look forward to the journey we have under his leadership.
